Intilaaqah is one of Shell’s Social Investment initiatives in the State of Qatar. It has been modeled on Shell LiveWIRE social entrepreneurship program running in 26 countries worldwide. Intilaaqah’s objective is to stimulate and encourage Qatari youth to consider the option of starting a business, and to provide assistance to those who aspire to seek this opportunity by providing them with training and counseling.

Intilaaqah Qatar

Intilaaqah Qatar was established in 2006 under the chairpersonship of H.E. Sheikha Hessa Bint Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani and in proud partnership with Qatar Shell, The College of North Atlantic Qatar, HSBC bank Middle East, Qatar Microsoft, Salam International and Social Development Center.

Program Objective

The program vision is to be recognized as the leading program for youth enterprise and entrepreneurial skills development in Qatar.

We aim to contribute to the implementation of Qatar's National Vision 2030 which states that: "Training and support for entrepreneurs is a basic precondition for enabling the private sector to carry out its required role".
